Alec Bakouche

My Story

Born and raised in the Salt Lake Valley in Utah. I grew up with a variety of interests and always had a curious mind. My curiosity drove me to always be tinkering. Taking things apart, putting them back together, and seeking to understand the way things work. To this day, I prefer to do my own maintenance on vehicles and at home, even if it’s something I’ve never done before. I soon found the same desire with computers and technology, on a constant pursuit of learning and building. Fitness has become a large portion of my life in the past few years. I have developed an obsession for CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting. You’ll find me in the gym almost any day of the week. I even started coaching CrossFit classes at a local gym a couple days a week because I can’t get enough and want to share my passion with others. Professionally, I have found a passion for problem-solving, mainly in client-facing roles. I love working directly with clients to understand their problems and how I can best serve them. I’ve worked with various tech start-ups and helped build and scale multiple successful teams.

My Bitcoin Journey

Like most, when I first encountered Bitcoin, I also encountered alt-coins. After a 4 year journey of sleepless nights and loss of funds, the bull run of 2021, I finally woke up. I picked up the Bitcoin Standard and immediately dove down the Bitcoin rabbit hole. Bitcoin books, podcasts, YouTube videos, and any other content quickly consume every second of my free time. I became obsessed. I started creating Bitcoin content and posting it on TikTok and Instagram. I later started a Bitcoin podcast with a close friend and now co-worker to both educate others and further my own understanding of Bitcoin. There is always more to learn. This rabbit hole is endless!
